Grooming Calendar View - Desktop Overview

The Grooming Calendar is your main workspace for managing daily operations.
Here you can:

  • View staff schedules

  • Manage appointments

  • Add calendar blocks

  • Check or add clients to the waitlist


Navigate to the Grooming Calendar (Desktop)

To open the grooming calendar:

  1. Click Calendar from the right-side menu bar.

Note

  • If your account includes Boarding & Daycare modules, clicking Calendar will still open the Grooming Calendar.

Calendar Sidebar Overview

The left sidebar provides quick access to navigation and scheduling tools.

Switch Calendar / Map View (Mobile Grooming Only)

Mobile grooming businesses can switch between:

  • Calendar View

  • Map View

This option appears in the top-left corner.

The Map View helps visualize appointment locations.

Calendar Date Picker

On the left side of the calendar, you will see a mini calendar.

You can click any date to jump directly to that day's schedule.

Quick Jump

Below the date picker, you will find the Quick Jump feature.

This allows you to quickly jump to a future date when scheduling appointments.

Available options range from:

  • 1 week

  • up to 14 weeks

Example:
If a client wants to book 4 weeks later, Quick Jump lets you instantly navigate to that week.

Smart Scheduling

Below Quick Jump, you will see the Smart Scheduling button.

This feature helps you quickly find available appointment slots.

Smart Scheduling works for both salon grooming and mobile grooming businesses.

For mobile grooming businesses, the system can recommend time slots based on:

  • Driving time between appointments

  • Service area

  • Appointment duration

Calendar Configuration

Click Calendar Config to customize how your calendar is displayed.

This includes settings such as:

  • Appointment card display

  • Calendar zoom

  • Color coding

  • Slot indicators

Print

The Print button allows you to print:

  • Appointment cards

  • Appointment summaries

Waitlist

Click Waitlist to:

  • View clients on the waitlist

  • Add new clients to the waitlist

Calendar Report

Below the sidebar buttons, you will find the Calendar Report.

If report permissions are restricted for staff, they will not be able to view this report.

You can view statistics by:

  • Day

  • Week

  • Month

  • Year

The report displays statistics based on the selected time period.

Metrics include:

  • Total appointments

  • Total pets

  • Finished appointments

  • Earned Revenue โ€“ total collected from completed appointments

  • Expected Revenue โ€“ total expected revenue from scheduled appointments


Main Calendar View

The main calendar area displays staff schedules and appointments.

Switch Business Location

If your business has multiple locations, you can switch between them.

Click Switch Location in the top menu bar to view the calendar for another location.


Switch Staff / Service Calendar (Boarding & Daycare Only)

For businesses with the Boarding & Daycare module, you can switch between two calendar types:

Staff Calendar

Displays:

  • Staff schedules

  • Appointments assigned to staff

Service Calendar

Displays the total number of appointments by service type in a monthly overview.

Example:

You can quickly see how many appointments are scheduled for:

  • Grooming

  • Daycare

  • Boarding


Display Staff

You can choose which staff appear on the calendar.

Click the Staff Display option to:

  • Show All Staff

  • Show Working Staff only

  • Select specific staff members

When Working Staff is enabled, only staff with scheduled shifts will appear.

Note

The Working Staff toggle is NOT available in Weekly View due to technical limitations.
It is available in:

  • Day view

  • Month view

  • Agenda view

Navigate Dates or Return to Today

At the top center of the calendar, you can see the current date or week.

Use the arrow buttons to move:

  • Forward or backward by day/week/month

Click Today to return to the current date.


View Picker

In the top-right corner, you can switch between calendar views:

  • Day

  • Week

  • Month

  • Agenda

Day View

Displays the full schedule for the selected day.

Week View

Displays schedules from Sunday through Saturday.

Month View

Shows the full month with appointments listed under each date.

If All Staff is selected, appointments for all staff appear under each date.

Agenda View

Displays appointments as a vertical list grouped by day.

The entire week is shown with detailed appointment information.


Main Calendar Display

In Day View and Week View, staff schedules are visually displayed.

  • Dark gray indicates the staff member is not working

  • Light gray indicates the staff member is working during that time

Staff Summary Information

Below each staff memberโ€™s name, you may see:

  • Number of appointments

  • Number of pets scheduled

  • Estimated revenue

  • Assigned service area (mobile grooming only)

Bulk Actions by Staff

You can perform bulk actions for all appointments assigned to a staff member on a selected date.

Click the staff memberโ€™s name, then choose:

  • Bulk Reschedule

  • Book Again

  • Cancel Appointments

A confirmation window will appear, allowing you to select the new date if applicable.

Important

Bulk actions only apply to unfinished appointments.
Completed appointments cannot be modified through this feature.


Create Appointments or Calendar Blocks

To add an item to the calendar:

  • Click any open time slot

You can then choose to:

  • Create a new appointment

  • Add a calendar block
