The Lodging View is a dedicated calendar inside MoeGo that shows all your boarding and daycare appointments organized by room. Instead of seeing appointments by staff or time slot, you see every lodging unit — and which pet is in it, for how long, and what's available.
This view helps you track arrivals and departures, monitor occupancy, and stay on top of daily lodging operations—all in one centralized calendar.

Open the Lodging View
Navigate to Calendar > Lodgings using the calendar icon in the left menu bar.
The view displays appointments on a weekly basis by default. To see a longer planning window, switch to 2-week view using the toggle at the top of the calendar.
Read the view
Room categories and occupancy
Your lodging units are grouped by type — for example, Standard, Deluxe, Cat Rooms, or Play Areas.
Hover over a room category name to see the occupancy rate for that category.
Click a room category name to collapse and hide it. Click it again to expand and show it.
Hover over any date column to see the occupancy rate and total number of pets for that date.
Understand the occupancy numbers
Each lodging type row shows an X / Y (%) count for each date column. How those numbers are calculated depends on the space type of the lodging.

Area | Total individual pets present in the area on that day (boarding overnight and daycare daytime combined) | Maximum pet capacity of the area |
📝 Note: Boarding pets that are checking out on that day are not counted toward occupancy. Their departure day does not count as an occupied night.
A percentage over 100% means the lodging is overbooked for that date. This can happen when a staff member manually selects a full room after turning off the Only show applicable lodging filter in the room selector. MoeGo will mark the unit as full and stop recommending it — but staff can still override this by toggling that filter off.
Which pet is in each room
Each appointment bar shows the pet's name and spans the dates of their stay. You can see at a glance which rooms are occupied, which are free, and when pets are checking in or out.
View split lodging assignments
When a boarding appointment uses split lodging, each segment of the pet's stay appears as a separate appointment bar in its assigned room.
Each bar shows the pet's name and spans only the dates for that room segment.
If a pet moves between multiple rooms during their stay, you'll see separate bars in each of those room rows.
Occupancy counts update to reflect each segment's assigned dates — not the full appointment's start and end dates.

⚠️ Important: Split lodging bars cannot be moved or resized by dragging on the Lodging View. To change the room or dates for a split segment, open the appointment and edit the lodging assignment from there.
Manage appointments from the Lodging View
Move an appointment to a different room or date
Drag the appointment bar to a new lodging unit or a new date. The appointment updates immediately.
📝 Note: Dragging to a different room reassigns the pet's lodging. Confirm the new room has capacity before moving.
Adjust a stay duration
Pull the right edge of the appointment bar to extend or shorten the pet's stay. The check-out date updates as you drag.
