Mobile Grooming - Map View on App

The Map View feature helps mobile grooming businesses manage appointments, staff, and routes more efficiently directly from the mobile app.

Using Map View on the app, you can:

  • Visualize appointments on a map

  • Get route directions with one click using Google Maps or Apple Maps

  • Optimize routes with Route Optimization

  • Monitor daily staff schedules

  • Search for nearby clients

⚠️ Note

  • This feature is designed for mobile grooming businesses

  • Some advanced features require Mobile Growth or Ultimate plans


Navigate to Map View (App)

When you open the MoeGo app, Map View appears by default.

⚠️ On the mobile app, you can view one staff member at a time.

Switch Staff

  1. Tap the staff button in the top right corner

  2. Select a staff member from the dropdown list

The map will update to show that staff member’s appointments and schedule.

View Service Area

The service area assigned to the selected staff and date will appear on the map.

To configure service areas, see the following guides:

Important

Only service areas created using drawn map areas will appear in the app Map View.

Service areas created using ZIP code settings on desktop will not appear on the mobile map.

Navigate Dates

At the top of the screen, you can switch between dates.

  • Tap a specific date to view that day’s schedule

  • Swipe left or right to move between weeks

  • Tap the down arrow next to the date to expand the calendar and choose a specific date

Route Optimization

You can automatically reorganize appointment routes to reduce travel time and driving distance.

Nearby Client

Map View also allows you to search for nearby clients or view all clients on the map.

View Appointment Cards

Appointments for the selected staff appear as cards at the bottom of the map.

  • Swipe left or right to view upcoming appointments

  • Tap the appointment card to open appointment details

  • Tap the expand arrow to see more information, including:

    • Pet

    • Service

    • Price

Contact Actions

From the appointment card, tap Contact to:

  • Send an auto message

  • Send ETA

  • Send "Ready for Pickup"

  • Message the client

  • Call the client (opens your phone’s calling app)

Get Directions

Tap the Direction button to open the client’s address in:

  • Apple Maps, or

  • Google Maps

for turn-by-turn navigation.

Check In

Tap Check In when you arrive at the appointment location.

A confirmation window will appear before the check-in is completed.

En Route

Tap En Route to share your live location with the business owner (visible in the desktop Map View).

To enable this feature:

  1. Go to your Phone Settings

  2. Select MoeGo App

  3. Allow Location Access while using the app


Display Driving Distance & Time

You can view estimated driving time and distance between appointments.

Steps

  1. Tap the Route button in the top left corner

  2. Driving distance and time will appear between appointments on the map

Switch to Calendar View

If you prefer the traditional schedule view, you can switch to Calendar View.

Steps

  1. Tap the Calendar icon in the top right corner

  2. The app will switch to Calendar View

To return to Map View:

  • Tap the Map icon in the same location.
