Q: Can I use packages on the MoeGo mobile app?

A: Not yet. Creating, selling, and managing packages is currently only available on the desktop version. If you need to work with packages from your phone, open MoeGo in your phone's web browser instead of the app.

Q: Why can't my clients see packages in online booking?

A: Two conditions must both be met before packages show up for clients:

  • MoeGo Pay must be registered for your business. Packages will not appear in online booking without it.

  • The specific package must be enabled for online booking. Each package has its own visibility toggle — only packages with Enable package purchase for Online Booking turned on will display.

If either condition is not met, clients won't see the package. See Let Clients Purchase Packages Online 👈

Q: Can my clients buy packages on their own if I don't use MoeGo Pay?

A: No. Online self-service purchase is exclusive to MoeGo Pay users. You can still sell packages to clients from the business side. To set up MoeGo Pay, see Get Started with MoeGo Pay 👈

Q: Can I show packages in online booking without letting clients purchase them?

A: No. There is no view-only display option — if a package is enabled for online booking, clients can purchase it.

Q: Can I pass processing fees on to clients for package sales?

A: Yes. Processing fees can be passed to clients on package sales, the same as other sales in MoeGo. See MoeGo Processing Fee by Client - Add Surcharges Easily for Credit Card Payments 👈

Q: Does applying a package change my staff's commission?

A: No. Commission is always calculated on the original service price. For example, if a client pays $0 for a $100 service because a package covered it, commission is still calculated on $100.

Q: What happens when a package expires?

A: The remaining items can no longer be applied to appointments, and the package shows as Expired in the client profile. You can extend a package's validity from the client profile — see Manage Sold Packages in Client Profiles 👈
