When a client owns a package, their prepaid items are applied to appointments at checkout — instead of charging for the service, MoeGo deducts it from the package.

This article explains how package redemption works at checkout, when it happens automatically, and how to apply a package manually.
How redemption works
When an appointment includes a service that matches a service in the client's valid package, the package is automatically applied to the invoice at checkout — no extra steps needed.
You can also apply a package manually: open the appointment, go to Take payment, and click Use package on the invoice to apply the available items.
💡 Tip: In the appointment details, hover over the package icon next to the client's name to see their package usage and details at a glance.
For a package to apply, check that:
The package is valid — not expired, with remaining quantity left.
The appointment service matches a service included in the package.
The appointment is at the same business location where the package was sold.
⚠️ Important: Packages are location-specific. If the package was sold at a different location than the appointment, it will not apply.
📝 Note: Applying a package does not change staff commission. Commission is always calculated on the original service price, even when the client pays $0 because a package covered the service.

After redemption
The package's remaining quantity decreases by the amount applied.
