Every package a client buys lives in their profile — that's where you track what's left, extend the deadline, or fix the balance when something changes.
New to packages? Start with MoeGo Package (Beta) - Overview 👈
This article shows you how to view a client's packages, extend validity, adjust remaining items, and track package balances across clients.
📝 Note: Viewing and editing client packages is permission-controlled — including extending validity and adjusting items in sold packages. See Powerful Tools Permission 👈
View a client's packages
Open the client profile and go to the Package section. You'll see each package's status (Valid or Expired), price, and remaining items.
Click a package to open its details: purchase date, validity period, included items with per-item balances, and full usage history.
📝 Note: A sold package can only be deleted from a client's profile if none of its items have been used and no items are currently locked to an active appointment or invoice.
Item balances: Quantity, Used, Locked, and Available
Inside Package Detail, each included item tracks four numbers:
Column | What it means |
Quantity | Total credits included when the package was sold |
Used | Credits already redeemed on completed appointments or invoices |
Locked | Credits reserved by an unfinished appointment or invoice (see below) |
Available | Credits still free to apply. Calculated as Quantity − Used − Locked (plus any manual adjustments). |
What "Locked" means
When a package credit is applied to an appointment or invoice that hasn't been completed yet, that credit shows as Locked — reserved for that order so it can't be applied somewhere else in the meantime.
Locked is temporary. Credits are released automatically:
When the occupying appointment or invoice is completed → the credit moves from Locked to Used
When the appointment or invoice is cancelled, or the package is removed from an unfinished invoice → the credit moves from Locked back to Available
There is no manual "Unlock" button. To free a Locked credit:
Open the package in the client profile.
Go to the History tab.
Find the row labeled "Lock package item" for the credit you want to release.
Click through to the related appointment or invoice, and cancel or remove it there.
📝 Notes:
The Locked column only appears in Package Detail on desktop web. The main Package list still shows only Valid or Expired.
Clients don't see the "Locked" label in Online Booking or their profile — they simply see fewer credits available.
Manually adjusting Available does not change Used or Locked. Existing locks remain in place until the source order is completed or cancelled.
If a credit stays Locked after its source order is already completed, that's a rare data-integrity case — contact MoeGo Support.
Extend package validity
Open the package in the client profile.
Click Extend under Validity.
Enter the number of days to extend: The estimated new expiration date is displayed before you confirm.
Adjust remaining items
Open the package in the client profile.
Click Edit under the Included items section.
Adjust the remaining quantity of each item and save.
📝 Notes:
Every adjustment generates a history record labeled "Adjust Package Item Quantity" in the History section, so changes stay traceable.
Adjustments change the Available column only. Used and Locked are not affected — existing locks stay locked until the source order is resolved.
Track packages in reports
The Package remaining balance report (under Insights > Reports) lists each client's remaining balance and expiration dates.
Package revenue appears in the Sales summary report, grouped by category.
