Confirmation and Next Steps

Once verification is completed successfully, you’re all set! 🎉

What happens after you submit

Most setups clear right away. If yours doesn't, it's almost always one of three things:

What's happening

How long

What you need to do

A document is being reviewed

About a day

Nothing — we'll update you

Something didn't match, usually the EIN or legal business name

Minutes, once corrected

Re-enter it exactly as it appears on your IRS document

Your EIN was issued recently and hasn't reached the IRS database yet

Three to four weeks

Nothing. This is on the IRS side. Upload your IRS letter and it will go through.

If you're not sure which one applies to you, reach out to support and we'll take a look with you.
