The Merge Client Profiles feature helps you streamline your client database by combining duplicate client profiles into a single, unified record.
By merging duplicates, you reduce data clutter and gain a more complete, accurate view of each client. This improves your CRM efficiency, strengthens communication, and creates a more organized client management system.
Note: This beta feature is currently available only on the desktop version for Growth plans and above.

How Duplicate Clients Are Identified
MoeGo automatically detects potential duplicate clients using the following criteria, in this priority order:
1. Same Phone Number
Clients with the same phone number are flagged as duplicates, regardless of country code.
Example:
13239687848and3239687848→ ✅ Identified as the same number
2. Same Email Address
Clients with the same email address are flagged as duplicates, regardless of letter case.
Example:
Lily@moego.petandlily@moego.pet→ ✅ Identified as the same email
3. Same Full Client Name
Clients with the same first and last name (case-insensitive) are flagged as potential duplicates.
Examples:
Rachel GreeneandRACHEL GREENE→ ✅ DuplicateRachel GandRachel Greene→ ❌ Not a duplicateRachelandRachel Greene→ ❌ Not a duplicate
Important: The full first and last name must match exactly.
4. Same Pet Name & Breed
Clients with pets that share the same pet name and breed (case-insensitive) may be flagged as potential duplicates.
Example:
Dog + Golden Retriever + PangDog + golden retriever + Pang
→ ✅ Identified as the same pet
Note: Clients with pets that share the same name and breed may still be different households, so these are flagged as potential duplicates only.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a merged client profile be reverted?
No. Once profiles are merged, the action is final and cannot be undone. Please review all details carefully before confirming.
Can I choose which individual data fields to keep?
No. The system automatically applies merge rules to consolidate all data. However, you may manually remove unwanted information after the merge is completed.
Can I merge pet profiles within the same client?
No. The merge tool currently supports client profiles only, not individual pet profiles.
Why does the merge take up to 24 hours to complete?
The 24-hour processing window allows MoeGo to safely consolidate large and sensitive data sets, including:
Memberships
Cards on file
Payment history
Signed agreements
This ensures your data is merged accurately and without system interruptions.
