That’s why MoeGo provides flexible online booking availability settings, so your booking experience can match your business rhythm—without extra manual work.
💡 Note: Online booking availability can only be configured on desktop.

Access Online Booking Availability (Grooming)
Go to: Online Booking → Settings → Availability
Select Grooming to manage grooming service availability.
⚠️ Any time you make changes on this page, click Update availability settings to save your updates.
Acceptable Client & Pet
Control who can book online and what types of pets you accept.
Acceptable Client Type
Choose which client types are allowed to book online:
Existing clients
Clients who already have a profile in your MoeGo system (including leads)New visitors
New clients without an existing profile
Check or uncheck each option to allow or restrict online booking.
Blocked Client List
You can block specific clients from booking online.
How to block a client:
Click View blocked client list
Search for a client under Available clients
Select the client and click Add to block list
You can review all blocked clients under the Block list section.
Client experience:
Blocked clients will see
“Oops… No availability. Online booking is not available at this time.”
⚠️ Important:
If you offer Grooming, Boarding, and Daycare:
Blocking a client under Grooming only hides Grooming selection.
To fully block a client, add them to all service categories.
Acceptable Pet Type
Before managing pet types here, first set them up in:
Settings → Customers & Pets → Pet Types & Breeds
Then, select which pet types are allowed for online booking.
💡 This setting also controls Intake Forms.
If a pet type is unchecked here, it won’t appear in online booking or intake forms.
Team Schedule
Control which staff members appear as available for online booking.
Enable or Disable Staff for Online Booking
Use the checkbox next to each staff member:
Checked → Staff is visible for online booking
Unchecked → Staff will not appear as available
Click Update availability settings to save changes.
Sync with Staff Shift Management
You can sync online booking availability with staff shifts.
To enable sync:
Go to Online Booking → Settings → Availability
Toggle Staff Shift Sync ON
Confirm when prompted
Once synced:
Staff availability becomes read-only here
Availability is controlled in Settings → Staff Shift Management
You can click View shift management to jump directly there
Manual staff availability (unsynced)
If you want online booking availability to differ from staff shifts:
Turn Staff Shift Sync OFF
Manually set staff availability here
You can also use the Copy button to copy one weekday’s schedule to others.
Availability Type
Choose how availability is shown to clients during online booking.
1: Book By Time
Best for salon and mobile businesses that book services sequentially.
Appointments are booked one after another
No overlapping bookings
Availability is based on working hours and service duration
Please check more detail in Set up Staff working hour mode.
How it works:
Set working hours (e.g., 9am–6pm)
First available time starts at the working hour start
Last available time ensures the service ends before closing
Example 1:
If staff Jenny works from 9am–6pm:
First available appointment = 9am
For a 1-hour service, the last available start time = 5pm
This ensures the appointment finishes by 6pm
Example 2:
If slot interval = 60 minutes and no bookings exist:
A 30-minute service shows: 9am, 10am, 11am…5pm
If a 90-minute appointment is booked at 9am:
Next available time becomes 10:30am
Following options: 11:30am, 12:30pm…5:30pm
You can also add booking limits by:

💡 If your Shift Management uses a different availability type, MoeGo will display a warning banner recommending you sync the settings to avoid overbooking or display conflicts.
2: Book By Slots (Salon Only)
Designed for salons that accept group drop-offs.
Slots represent capacity, not service duration
Multiple clients can book the same slot until the limit is reached
Please check more detail in book by slot.
Example:
You create a 9am slot with a max of 5 pets.
Up to 5 pets can be booked at 9am, regardless of service length.
You can:
Set daily pet maximums
Set per-slot limits
Add booking limits by pet size, breed, or service (by clicking on edit button)
Add slot notes (e.g., “Bath only”)
Example (slot note):
If a slot only accepts bath services, add a note like “Bath only”.
This note appears as a reminder on the calendar.
Slot notes display on calendar:
Sync ON → Notes come from Shift Management
Sync OFF → Notes come from Online Booking
Slot-free services (By Slot only)
Some services don’t consume slot capacity (e.g., nail trims).
You can mark these as slot-free services, so they won’t reduce available slots.

3: Disable Select time Option
Available for salon and mobile businesses.
When enabled:
Clients submit booking requests without selecting a time
You schedule the appointment later from the request list
Useful for accommodating breaks, meetings, or flexible scheduling needs.
Staff Selection
Toggle whether clients can choose a specific staff member.
ON → Clients select staff
OFF → System auto-assigns staff (clients are not notified)
💡 Clients are not notified when staff is auto-assigned.
You can reassign staff and notify clients when accepting the request.
Slot Display Preferences
Choose how booking times appear to clients.
Exact Times
Clients select precise start times.
Book by Time: Based on working hours, slot interval, and existing bookings
Example: Staff works 9am–6pm, slot interval = 60 minutes:
Available times: 9am, 10am, 11am…5pm
Book by Slot: Matches slot times exactly
Arrival Windows
Show a time range instead of an exact start time.
Example:
11:00 AM with a ±15-minute window → 10:45 AM – 11:15 AM
Arrival windows will not start before working hours or extend past closing.
Example:
If working hours are 9am–6pm, the 9am window displays as 9:00–9:15, not earlier.
Date Only
Clients choose a date without a time.
The system assigns a time automatically, which you can adjust later.
Select between three configuration options for time slot preferences.
Next Available Slot
When enabled:
Only the earliest available slot per staff per day is shown
Example:
If staff starts at 9am, only the 9am slot appears.
Once booked, the next available slot is shown.
Slot interval (For Book by Time only)
Controls spacing between selectable time options.
💡 This is different from arrival windows.
Example:
Slot interval = 60 minutes
Arrival window = ±10 minutes
Displayed options:
10:45–11:15
11:45–12:15
Each displayed option will have 60min gap.
Fake it filter (For Book by Time only)
Make your business appear busier by limiting visible availability.
Off → No filtering
Slightly busy → ~25% hidden
Moderately busy → ~40% hidden
Extremely busy → ~50% hidden
Advanced Booking
Control how far in advance clients can book.
How soon can your client book
Options include:
Same day
Next day
2–5 days out
For grooming-only businesses:
Calendar Day → Counts all days
Business Day → Skips closed days
Example:
If “Next day” is selected and your business is closed tomorrow, the next available booking date will be the following business day.
How far can your client book
Options include:
1, 2, 3, 6, 9 months
1 year
Specific date: This date won't be auto renewed. MoeGo will send you a notification when it's time to update.
FAQ
Do date overrides apply to Book by Time and Book by Slot?
Yes. Date overrides, calendar blocks, and business closed dates affect both availability types.
Which plans support staff shift sync?
All plans support syncing online booking with staff working hours.
Can I block specific clients from online booking?
Yes. Use the Blocked client list under
Online Booking → Settings → Availability.Blocked clients will see all days as fully booked.
