Service Price by Coat Type allows grooming businesses to define which services are available—and how they are priced—based on a pet’s coat type (for example: short, long, curly, double coat).
Long or curly coats require additional grooming time and higher pricing.
Certain services are only offered for specific coat types.
The business wants to prevent incorrect self-bookings while keeping staff workflows flexible.
Online booking needs clear guardrails, but staff should still be able to book manually when needed.
Different coat types often require different levels of time, effort, tools, and expertise. By configuring services by coat type, you can guide clients to book the most appropriate service during online booking while protecting your pricing strategy and reducing booking errors.
How to set it up:
Step 1: Set up pet settings for coat type
Before configuring services, make sure coat types are defined in your system.
Go to Settings > Client & Pet to set them up.
Step 2: Set up service by coat type
Go to Settings > Service
Set coat type for your services: Go to settings > service > coat type.
If there isn't a specific coat limit, choose 'all coat type' for it.
Step 4: Set up show applicable service only
Apply it for online booking in online booking > settings > service > only show applicable service on the booking page
