Service Price by Types & Breeds allows your business to define which services are available—and how they are priced—based on a pet’s type (e.g., dog, cat) and breed.

  • A grooming business charges higher prices for large or high-maintenance dog breeds.

  • Certain services (e.g., hand-stripping or specialty trims) are only offered to specific breeds.

  • The business wants to prevent clients from booking services that are not suitable for their pet.

  • Online booking needs guardrails, while staff bookings remain flexible.

This helps ensure clients only see services that are appropriate for their pet during online booking, while giving your team flexibility when creating appointments manually.

By aligning services and pricing with pet characteristics, you can reduce booking errors, avoid underpricing complex grooms, and create a more professional booking experience.

How to set up Service Price by Types & Breeds

This feature allows you to determine applicable services and pricing using pet breeds.

This applies to manual appointment creation and online booking, depending on your settings.

💡 Staff can still override or manually create appointments when needed.

💻 How to set up price by breeds (Desktop)

Step 1: Set up pet types and breed

Before configuring services, make sure your pet types and breeds are defined.

Go to Settings > Client & Pet to set them up.

Step 2: Set up service by breed

  1. Go to Settings > Service

  2. Set pet types and breeds available for your services: Go to settings > service > pet type & breeds.

  3. If there isn't a specific breed restriction, choose 'all types&breeds', or 'all breeds' for it.

📱 How to set up price by breeds (Mobile)

Step 1: Set up pet types and breed

Before configuring services, make sure your pet types and breeds are defined.

Go to Settings > Client & Pet > Types & breed to set them up.

Step 2: Set up service by breed

  1. Go to Settings > Service

  2. Set pet types and breeds available for your services: Go to settings > service > pet type & breeds.

  3. If there isn't a specific breed restriction, choose 'all types&breeds', or 'all breeds' for it.

Optional: Set up show applicable service only

You can further refine the client experience by hiding non-applicable services.

Apply it for online booking in online booking > settings > service > only show applicable service on the booking page.

This setting is only available on the desktop.

FAQ

Q: Can I apply this to pricing only, not availability?

This feature controls service applicability by pet type and breed. Pricing adjustments are managed within the service setup once applicability is defined.

Q: Do I need to set this up for every service?

Only for services where breed or pet type matters. Services that apply to all pets can simply use All Types & Breeds.
