Set Up Lodging

The Lodging View in MoeGo Boarding & Daycare provides an intuitive interface to manage pet accommodations efficiently. This view enables businesses to track lodging availability, organize pet stays, and streamline boarding operations.

Optimize your space with our Lodgings settings, ensuring each pet is comfortably accommodated.

Manage Lodging Settings

Go to Settings > Lodgings to manage lodging types and units.

Manage lodging type

Click Manage lodging type to define different types of lodgings, such as suites, kennels, or shared spaces.

  • Edit or Delete lodging types as needed.

  • Drag to Sort Lodging Types order for better organization. This control the order of display on your lodging calendar

  • Click on add lodging type to add a new type

Add Lodging Type

You can add all the type of lodging you may have, each type of the lodging may have multiple units. For example, if you have a VIP Suites type. you may have 3 VIP suites.

  • Type name: (For example standard Suit, luxury suit etc)

  • Description: brief description of this lodging

  • Space type:

    • Room/Kennel: Capacity is based on individual rooms. Once a pet (or pet family) is assigned to a lodging, it is considered fully occupied. (Only one family per room)

    • Area: Capacity is based on the number of pets. An area remains available until the number of assigned pets reaches the maximum limit.

  • Photo: picture of your lodging. this will be display in Online Booking so client can see how it looks.

  • Max number of pets

    • When select Room/Kennel: Max # of Pets (same family) per room: The maximum number of pets from the same family that can be assigned to a single room/kennel. Each room can only be occupied by one family at a time.For boarding services, pets on their check-out date are not counted toward occupancy.

    • When select Area: Max # of pets per areaThe maximum number of pets that an area can accommodate at the same time, regardless of family. An alert will be triggered by the system when the specified criteria are met. For boarding services, pets on their check-out date are not counted toward occupancy.

  • Eligible Pet Weight: Define the pet size range that can stay in this room.

  • Size options can be modified at Settings > Clients & Pets > Pet size

Add Lodging

Once you've set up all the lodging types, under setting> Lodging, click Add lodging to assign new lodgings to their respective types.

  • Select Lodging Type

  • Under the Lodging list enter unique Unit ID one by one to include all your lodging space.

    • For example, if you are setting lodging under the VIP Suites Lodging type, you can name the Unit ID as 1, 2, 3, and the actual name of the lodging will be: 1 (VIP Suites), 2 (VIP Suites), 3 (VIP Suites).

  • Or you can Bulk add to add all lodging under this type at once

  • Input the total unit quantity: number of unit you have under this lodging type

  • prefix: Refers to the initial part of the unit name, such as 'Room' in 'Room001,'

  • and starting number for auto-generated room codes (e.g., Room 101, Room 102, etc.).

If no pre-fix, your lodging will just be the number 1, 2,3

If you add a pre-fix like "VIP Suite". the lodging will be VIP Suite 1, VIP Suite 2, VIP Suite 3

Manage Checkout Cut-off Time

You can click on the "Manage checkout cut-off time" to enable or disable the checkout cut-off time.
