🌱 MoeGo Ads is launching soon. If you're interested in being one of the first to try it, contact your account manager or MoeGo support to get on the early access list.
If you already run Google Ads yourself, work with a marketing agency, or use Local Services Ads (LSA), you might wonder whether adding MoeGo Ads will step on those campaigns. The short answer: no. This article walks through how the two coexist, why we run in a separate ad account, and what to expect.
The short version
No, MoeGo Ads will not conflict with your existing campaigns. MoeGo Ads runs in its own separate Google Ads account, so reporting and attribution stay clean.
No, you don't need to pause or turn anything off. They can run side by side.
No, you won't lose access to your existing Google Ads account. Nothing about your existing setup changes.
Why a separate ad account?
MoeGo Ads uses its own dedicated Google Ads account (managed for you), rather than pushing campaigns into your existing account. This does three things:
Keeps reporting clean. You see MoeGo Ads' calls, directions, store visits, and bookings on their own — no cross-contamination with your other campaigns' numbers.
Avoids changes to your existing campaign structures. We never touch your keywords, ad groups, budgets, or bid strategies.
Lets our AI optimize independently. MoeGo Ads runs a Maps-first campaign type (Local Campaigns) that has different optimization goals than typical Search campaigns. Keeping them separate lets each system do its best work.
How MoeGo Ads coexists with your other campaigns
MoeGo Ads and your existing Google Ads campaigns don't compete for the same job. They serve different stages of the customer journey:
MoeGo Ads focuses on the consideration-to-decision moment — someone who's already decided to go out and opens Google Maps to find a groomer, boarding facility, or salon nearby. About 70% of MoeGo Ads spend is weighted toward Maps, where local intent is highest.
Your other campaigns (Search, YouTube, Display) tend to reach people earlier — during awareness and research.
Showing up consistently across both stages raises the odds you're top of mind when someone's finally ready to book.
MoeGo Ads also uses hour-of-day bidding to time when it enters auctions. This helps avoid competing in the exact same windows as your other campaigns, further reducing the chance the two systems bid against each other on Google's back end.
We recommend running MoeGo Ads as an evergreen campaign. The AI optimizes continuously — the longer it runs, the more efficient it gets at reaching the right audience at the right time. Pausing and restarting resets some of what it has learned.
Does MoeGo Ads take my existing campaigns into account?
No. MoeGo Ads and your other Google Ads campaigns run separately, and the strategy of one doesn't affect the other.
MoeGo Ads matches ads to searches using your Google Business Profile, not your existing campaign data. That means the health of your Google Business Profile matters a lot for how well MoeGo Ads performs. We recommend:
Keeping your profile optimized (our Profile Manager tool helps).
Actively responding to reviews.
Google tends to favor well-optimized profiles — generally those with at least 15 reviews and a 4.0+ star rating.
Edge case: possible auction overlap
If MoeGo Ads and your other campaigns target very similar audiences, keywords, and locations, both may become eligible for some of the same Google auctions. When that happens, cost-per-click can occasionally tick up.
To be clear: Google's auction system decides placement based on relevance, quality, and competition — not which platform submitted the ad. So one system doesn't "beat" the other; it's just that shared demand can push the price of each click up.
When MoeGo Ads detects this kind of overlap, the AI automatically shifts spend to different times of day or different keyword themes to reduce the overlap. No action needed on your side.
A few things we recommend
If you're new to running MoeGo Ads alongside other campaigns, three habits help:
Treat MoeGo Ads as a complementary channel, not a replacement. It's designed to sit alongside — and stack with — existing Search PPC and agency work.
Give new campaigns time to complete the learning phase. Full optimization takes 6 to 8 weeks. Don't compare early-week numbers head-to-head with a campaign that's been running for a year.
Look at total business outcomes, not campaign-level comparisons. Calls, directions, store visits, and bookings across all channels — that's the number that matters to your business.
What about my agency?
MoeGo Ads doesn't replace your agency. Many businesses run MoeGo Ads alongside agency-managed campaigns and see them work together. If your agency runs Search, YouTube, or Performance Max campaigns, MoeGo Ads' Maps-first coverage fills a specific gap without disrupting what they've built.
What about my existing Google Ads account?
Nothing changes. Your existing Google Ads account, campaigns, budgets, and history stay exactly as they are, under your control. MoeGo Ads is a separate, managed account — you don't need to grant us access to yours.
