The Client & Pet Summary Report gives you a summary view of client and pet distribution, behavior patterns, and retention. Data is based on the appointment date.

Use it to understand how your client base is segmented, track first-time vs. returning clients, and identify which pet breeds or client groups generate the most revenue.

Client & Pet Summary Report

The report can be grouped by pet breed, business name, create date, state, city, zipcode, pet type, or pet code. Each grouping gives you a different lens on your client and pet distribution.

Client type definitions

Have a profile created but no appointment history within the selected time range.

First-time clients / pets

Have 1 upcoming or 1 finished appointment within the selected time range.

Returning clients / pets

Have more than 1 finished appointment within the selected time range.

Second-time clients / pets

Have 1 finished appointment before the start of the selected time period.

Clients on recurring schedule

Average Review Score

The average review score received across the group of clients in the selected segment.

📝 Note: Client type counts use duplicate counting — a client who visited twice in the period is counted twice in totals. See Understanding metrics in MoeGo Insights 👈 for the difference between unique and duplicate count.

Breed earnings

When grouped by pet breed, the report shows average earnings per breed — the average net sales per appointment for each breed. Use this to understand which breeds drive the most revenue per visit and where your services may be underpriced or in high demand.

Pet Incident Report

The Pet Incident Report is a detailed log of every incident recorded during a pet's appointment. It is designed for businesses that need to track and review safety events, injuries, or behavioral issues that occurred in their care.

Unlike most reports, the Pet Incident Report is based on the incident date — the date the incident was recorded — not the appointment date. It has no Group by and no Compare to option.
