Pet profile overview

A map of the pet profile — what each tab does, how it's organized, and what's available by business type and platform.

The pet profile is a dedicated record for each of your clients' pets in MoeGo. Every pet is linked to a client (owner), and a single client can have multiple pets. You can access any pet's profile directly from the client profile.

Pet profiles store everything your team needs to know before and during a service — breed, age, behavioral notes, vaccine status, feeding instructions, and incident history. Instead of asking clients the same questions at every visit, your staff can open the profile and find what they need in seconds.

How the pet profile is organized

Each pet profile has five tabs. The tabs available depend on your business type.

The pet card

When you open a client profile, each of their pets appears as a card on the left side of the screen. The pet card shows the pet's name, breed, and any pet codes assigned to it.

Click any pet card to open its full profile on the right. To switch between pets, click a different card — the profile updates without reloading the page.

Limitations

  • The Feeding & Medication tab is only available on desktop. It is not available in the MoeGo mobile app.

  • Incident reports can only be created on a desktop.

  • Training Notes are currently only available in Group Classes (beta). They are not part of the pet profile.

  • Field Management (custom field layout) does not currently apply to pet profiles.
