Online Booking - Waitlist

Online Booking allows you to move eligible booking requests to the general Waitlist, making it easy to fill earlier openings based on your availability.

You can use the waitlist to proactively backfill cancellations and optimize your schedule.

Important Notes About Waitlist

  • Online Booking Waitlist = Grooming Calendar Waitlist

  • Boarding/Daycare waitlists are not supported in Online Booking

  • Only grooming requests can be added to waitlist

Move a Booking Request to Waitlist

To move a grooming request to the waitlist:

  1. Go to Online Booking → Booking Requests

  2. Click the three-dot icon

  3. Select Add to Waitlist

A waitlist drawer will open on the right side of your screen.

Here, you can review:

  • Service details

  • Client information

  • Pet information

You can also define scheduling preferences.

Waitlist Configuration Options

Expected Date

Choose one of the following:

  • ASAP – Finds the earliest available date

  • Specific Date

  • Day of the Week

Expected Time

Choose:

  • Anytime – Finds the first available time

  • Time Range – Morning, Afternoon, Evening

  • Exact Start Time

Staff Preference

Select:

  • Anyone

  • A specific staff member

Valid Until

Set an expiration date for the waitlist request.

After the selected date:

  • The waitlist entry will automatically expire

  • It will be removed from your active waitlist

Comments

Add internal notes related to this waitlist request.

After completing the details, click Add to Waitlist.

A confirmation pop-up will appear allowing you to:

  • Notify the client via SMS

  • Notify via Email

  • Notify via both

  • Skip notification


Manage Online Booking Waitlist

To manage waitlist entries:

Go to Online Booking → Waitlist (top right tab)

The waitlist drawer will appear on the right side.

Grooming Waitlist

You can:

  • View all grooming waitlist requests

  • Sort by:

    • Latest request

    • Oldest request

    • Highest ticket price

  • Apply filters

  • Show only waitlist entries with available scheduling options

This helps you prioritize higher-value or more urgent bookings.

Boarding & Daycare Waitlist

Under Online Booking:

  • You cannot view Boarding or Daycare waitlist entries

  • Boarding/Daycare booking requests cannot be added to the Online Booking waitlist

To manage Boarding or Daycare waitlist:

  • Navigate to the Home View section

  • Or use the Grooming Calendar


Online Booking Waitlist (App)

To view your Online Booking Waitlist on the app:

  1. Go to Calendar

  2. Tap the “+” button

  3. Select View Waitlist

You will be able to see all grooming waitlist requests, including those submitted through Online Booking.

Important Notes

  • The waitlist feature on the app is currently available for Grooming only.

  • General Boarding and Daycare waitlists are not available on the app.

  • Boarding and Daycare services do not support Online Booking waitlist at this time.
