What Are the Default Rules?
MoeGo categorizes notifications into service-related and marketing-related messages. Each category has its own default Email and SMS preferences.
Service message is opt-in for email and opt-out for SMS, while marketing message is opt-out for both email and SMS\
MoeGo stores these preferences automatically and will only send messages that the client has consented to receive.

Default notification settings for new customers
Notification regulations vary widely across regions and grooming service providers. Because of these differences, MoeGo provides businesses with flexible controls rather than enforcing a universal global default.
You can set up your own company-level defaults!
The notification types and channels you select will automatically apply to all newly created customers, regardless of how their profiles are generated. You can still adjust preferences individually afterward.
Go to Settings > Communication > Preferences to configure your default rules.
Pet parent's default notification will not be overridden by your company defaults. These client-facing flows allow pet parents to select their own preferences during registration.
Your company-level defaults serve only as a baseline, which pet parents can override with their own choices.
