Pet parents can choose whether to receive service-related and marketing notifications when using your Online Booking portal. MoeGo ensures communication preferences are always collected in a compliant, transparent way.
Notification Pop-up in Online Booking Portal
When a new pet parent signs up or an existing client login in to Online Booking, a notification pop-up will appear asking them to:
Enable notifications
Choose their preferred communication method (SMS and/or Email)
This step is optional — pet parents can skip it and continue with their booking.
📌 Once the selection is submitted, MoeGo will automatically save the pet parent’s communication preferences for future messages.
If pet parent has not opted into service-related SMS in the previous step, MoeGo will prompt this again.
The reminder appears if the client have not opt in for service related SMS.
Ensures they receive important updates, including:
Appointment confirmations
Cancellations or rescheduling
Reminders
Second Pop-up After Booking an Appointment (Coming Soon)
After a client books an appointment, a second pop-up will appear if there are notification types they have not opted in to, based on the settings in their client profile. This pop-up will prompt the client to review and enable any notifications they have not yet selected.
The pop-up will appear after each booking until the client completes their notification preferences.
Note: This feature is expected to be available around January 16.
Manage Preferences in Client Portal
Pet parents can change notification preferences at any time:
Go to Online Booking > Client Portal > Communication Settings, and update the preference. Changes update instantly across all MoeGo messaging.
From there, they can toggle:
Service-related notifications (SMS/Email)
Marketing notifications (SMS/Email)
Changes made here apply immediately and sync across all MoeGo communication channels.
Note: This preference setting is not available in the old version Online Booking portal. Please reach out to support team to enable the new portal.
