Configure daily care feedback and custom questions, then test and publish each care type’s template.

💎 Growth and above: Customized feedback requires Growth or above. This requirement applies to custom questions, not every section described below.

Boarding and daycare report cards share a pet’s care updates with their pet parent. Configure the questions your team answers for each care date before they prepare individual reports.

Use this guide on MoeGo Business Web. Boarding and Daycare are separate template selections. Grooming has a different set of settings, covered in Set up grooming report templates.

Open the relevant template

  1. Open Settings > Report card.

  2. Select Boarding or Daycare: Choose the service you want to configure.

  3. Expand Design your brand style.

  4. Enter your report title.

For visual options and eligibility, follow How to choose a report card theme.

Set the sending preference

  1. Open Sending preference in the selected Boarding or Daycare template.

  2. Select how your team will send reports.

Review this setting separately for Boarding and Daycare. Publish your changes with the rest of each template after testing it.

📝 Note: This setting chooses the sending method. It does not automatically send reports or provide a fallback to another method if sending fails.

Configure care-update sections

  1. Expand the section you want to configure.

  2. Edit its available settings.

  3. Toggle the section to control whether it appears in the report.

  1. Turn on Customized feedback.

  2. Expand Customized feedback.

  3. Select Add customized question.

  4. Select the question type.

  5. Enter the question text.

Some built-in options cannot be deleted. Use the editing controls shown for the field you are changing.

Manage existing questions

  • Select the pencil icon beside a question to edit it.

  • Drag the handle beside a question to change its order.

  • Select the trash icon to remove a question you no longer need.

Review the questions before publishing so staff know what to complete for future care updates.

Test and publish

  1. Select a preview channel: Review the SMS or Email view in the editor.

  2. Select Test: Follow the prompts to check the report using the available test option.

  3. Select Save and publish: Publish the template when you are satisfied with it.

📝 Note: A test checks the template’s presentation. Publishing makes the template available for report creation; it does not send a pet’s report to a client.

If staff already have a report draft open, have them review it before sending. Check any template-update prompt that appears rather than assuming every saved draft has changed.

Set up the other care type

  1. Select the other care type: Switch from Boarding to Daycare, or from Daycare to Boarding.

  2. Review its sections and questions.

  3. Test that template.

  4. Select Save and publish.

FAQ

Q: Does publishing the Boarding template also configure Daycare?
A: Review and publish each template separately. Do not assume changes in one selection have configured the other.
