Membership Status Definitions

Memberships move through different statuses based on billing activity and lifecycle events.

Unavailable

Benefits will become active on the start date.

Cancel (Terminate the schedule)

Canceled

This can happen immediately, at the end of a cycle, or due to payment failure.

⚠️ Conditional

Immediate Cancel: Benefits stop immediately (unless you manually opted to keep them).

Once canceled, a membership cannot be reverted to Active. The client must purchase a new membership subscription to rejoin.

Edit Membership

Memberships can be edited at any time, but what you can edit depends on whether clients are currently subscribed.

When subscribed clients = 0

If no clients are currently subscribed:

  • Edit: All membership settings can be modified

  • Delete: Membership can be deleted

  • Effect: All changes take effect immediately

When subscribed clients > 0

If one or more clients are subscribed:

  • Delete: Not allowed

    • The membership can only be set to Inactive

  • Edit: Only certain fields can be modified

  • Effect timing:

    • Some changes apply immediately

    • Most changes apply starting from the next billing cycle

While editing, MoeGo will:

  • Display a notice indicating when changes take effect

  • Grey out fields that cannot be edited
