This article provides an overview of how membership management works in MoeGo. You’ll learn how to review membership statuses, monitor subscriptions, understand billing and benefit behavior, and safely edit membership settings without impacting existing clients.
Membership Status Definitions
Memberships move through different statuses based on billing activity and lifecycle events.
Status | Definition | Benefits Availability | Available Actions |
Active | Subscription is live and billing successfully | ✅ Available | • Pause • Cancel • Refund |
Paused | Billing is temporarily stopped | ❌ Unavailable Benefits are frozen and cannot be redeemed while paused. | • Restart (Resume billing and benefits) |
Scheduled |
Purchased but set to start on a future date | ❌ Unavailable Benefits will become active on the start date. | • Cancel (Terminate the schedule) |
Canceled | Subscription has ended permanently. This can happen immediately, at the end of a cycle, or due to payment failure. | ⚠️ Conditional • Immediate Cancel: Benefits stop immediately (unless you manually opted to keep them). • Period End: Benefits remain active until the expiration date. | Cannot Renew / Reactivate Once canceled, a membership cannot be reverted to Active. The client must purchase a new membership subscription to rejoin. |
