Notification Compliance Via Client Profiles

Manage client communication preferences directly in their profile to stay compliant and ensure pet parents receive the messages they want.

MoeGo allows you to record a pet parent’s consent for service-related notifications and marketing notifications individually. This helps your business follow communication regulations and automatically respects each client’s messaging preferences across SMS and email.

Adding a New Client/Lead

  1. When creating a new profile, scroll to the Notification Settings section.

  2. Review the default settings for Service-related and Marketing-related messages. (Service message is opt-in for email and opt-out for SMS, while marketing message is opt-out for both email and SMS).

  3. If the pet parent agrees to receive other messages, check on SMS or email option accordingly.

⚠️ Compliance Reminder

You must obtain the client’s consent before enabling SMS or marketing notifications. If changes are made without consent, your business will be responsible for any compliance issues.

Updating a Existing Client/Lead

You can update a client’s preferences at any time.

Go to Client Profile > Settings > Notifications to update.
