Create a Peak Date Rule
In the Setting> Service> Pricing Rules,
Select Peak Dates.
Click Add New Rule and configure the following:
Rule Name
Give the rule a clear, descriptive name (for example, Thanksgiving Week).
Applicable Services
Select the boarding and/or daycare services this surcharge should apply to.
Status
Active – The rule is currently in effect
Inactive – The rule is saved but not applied
Applicable Date(s)
Define when the surcharge should apply. You can choose from:
Specific Date(s) – selectable range of dates
Repeat Dates – Recurring dates within a selected date range
If you include multiple date ranges under Specific Dates within a single Peak Date rule, the surcharge will be applied only once per appointment.
Example
A single Peak Date rule includes:
1/11 – 1/17
1/25 – 1/31
Surcharge amount: $10
If an appointment is booked from 1/12 to 1/29, the surcharge will be applied only once, based on one of the selected date ranges.
In this example, the surcharge is applied for 1/25 – 1/31, but not for 1/12 – 1/16.
Best Practice
If you want the surcharge to apply to each date range, please create a separate Peak Date rule for each date range.
Repeat Dates Options
If using Repeat Dates, you can:
Select specific days of the week
Set the recurrence to repeat every X weeks
Apply the repeat pattern within the chosen start and end dates
Important Notes
If multiple Peak Date rules overlap on the same date, the system will automatically apply the highest surcharge.
Example
Peak Date Rule A
Date range: 6/1/2026 – 8/1/2026
Surcharge: $10
Peak Date Rule B
Date range: 7/1/2026 – 7/12/2026
Surcharge: $15
Result:
From 7/1/2026 to 7/12/2026, Rule B applies ($15 surcharge).
For all other dates between 6/1/2026 and 8/1/2026, Rule A applies ($10 surcharge).
Surcharge Amount
Enter the surcharge amount that will be applied during the selected peak dates.
For each pet: you can choose surcharge be aplied for each pet per night/day
For first pet: you can choose surcharge be applied by the first pet per night/day, and wether if the Charge applies to the first pet in each lodging by selecting "Charge per lodging"
