How Message is counted?
A standard SMS message contains 160 characters. Messages exceeding this limit will incur additional charges per recipient.
Larger messages are split into 153-character segments and sent separately.
Messages with UCS-2 characters (like emojis) are limited to 70 characters and split into 67-character segments, even if shorter.
You can hover over the SMS amount icon in the top right corner of the message box to monitor your SMS usage before sending.
For auto messages, the character limit is increased to 480 characters per SMS, though our service provider still charges us based on 160 characters per message.
Emojis in Auto Message
To prevent the quick depletion of your SMS allotment, we have limited the use of Emojis in auto messages.
However, you can still include Emojis in manual messages.

You can check your message usage by going to the Message Center.
Click on the "SMS Available" button.
