The Holiday SMS Bonus gives eligible MoeGo businesses more room for appointment updates, schedule changes, customer follow-ups, and Holiday outreach. For the full offer and claim instructions, see Holiday SMS Bonus 2026 overview.

Q: What is the Holiday SMS Bonus?
A: It is a free increase to the SMS credits included with eligible MoeGo plans during the 2026 Holiday period. One staff member claims it for the account. The bonus is then added to each eligible billing cycle through the end of the offer.

Q: When does the Holiday SMS Bonus start?
A: The claim action becomes available on October 1, 2026. Once someone claims it, the full bonus is available immediately for the billing cycle already in progress.

Q: Who can claim the bonus?
A: Any staff member on the account can claim it. Only one person on the team needs to complete the claim.

Q: How do I claim the bonus?
A: On the MoeGo desktop app, select Claim now from the Holiday SMS banner. On the MoeGo Business App, open the navigation menu, select Claim free SMS, and then select Claim now.

Q: What happens if I select Later or close the claim message?
A: The claim reminder appears again after 24 hours. It continues to reappear until someone claims the bonus or the Holiday benefit ends.

Q: Is there a deadline to claim?
A: You can claim during the Holiday benefit period. The claim action disappears on January 1, 2027, when the benefit ends. Claiming earlier gives you more time to use the bonus in your current billing cycle.

Q: Will I receive only part of the bonus if I claim late in my billing cycle?
A: No. Claiming adds the full bonus for the current billing cycle. However, unused bonus credits expire when that billing cycle ends. A later claim therefore gives you fewer days to use the first bonus.

Q: Do I need to claim the bonus again every billing cycle?
A: No. Only one claim is required. After the account claims, a new bonus is added automatically when each eligible billing cycle begins during the Holiday period.

Q: Do unused Holiday bonus credits roll over?
A: No. Unused Holiday bonus credits expire when the billing cycle renews. A new bonus is added for the next eligible billing cycle.

Q: Do my regular plan SMS credits roll over?
A: No. Unused SMS credits included with your subscription plan expire when the billing cycle renews. Your plan allowance then resets for the new cycle.

Q: Do purchased SMS credits roll over?
A: Yes. SMS credits purchased through an add-on package do not expire. They remain available until they are used.

Q: Are Holiday SMS add-on packages different from the free Holiday SMS Bonus?
A: Yes. The free Holiday SMS Bonus is added to eligible plan allowances after one account-level claim. Holiday SMS add-on packages are optional purchases that include more credits at the same listed price during the offer period.

Q: Do I need to claim before buying a Holiday SMS add-on package?
A: No. Holiday package amounts apply automatically to eligible packages purchased from October 1 through December 31, 2026.

Q: Does Auto Reload receive the Holiday package increase?
A: Yes. Eligible packages purchased through Auto Reload receive the same Holiday credit increase as packages purchased manually. No separate claim is required.

Q: What happens to purchased credits after the Holiday offer ends?
A: Purchased credits already on your account remain available until you use them. They do not expire when the Holiday offer ends.

Q: What happens on January 1, 2027?
A: The claim action disappears. New billing cycles no longer receive a Holiday bonus, and SMS add-on packages return to their regular credit amounts. Purchased credits remain available until used.

Q: My billing cycle started before January 1. Will my Holiday bonus disappear on January 1?
A: No. A Holiday bonus already granted for a billing cycle that began before January 1 remains available until that billing cycle ends. Your next billing cycle receives the regular plan allowance without a new Holiday bonus.

Q: How does the bonus work for a multi-location business?
A: SMS credits continue to follow the regular plan-and-location rules. One staff member can complete the account-level claim. Each eligible location receives the applicable bonus based on that location's plan.

Q: Where can I see my available SMS credits?
A: Open Messages and select SMS available. The Message Report shows the available and used credits for the selected location and billing cycle.

Q: Why did a message use more than one SMS credit?
A: SMS credits are counted by message segment. Longer messages and messages containing emoji or other Unicode characters may be divided into multiple segments. Each segment affects your SMS credit usage.

Q: Why can an emoji make my message use more credits?
A: Emoji uses Unicode encoding, which allows fewer characters in each SMS segment. A message containing an emoji may therefore be split into more segments than a message containing only standard SMS characters.

Q: What is Smart Encoding?
A: Smart Encoding replaces certain compatible punctuation or spacing characters with standard SMS characters when possible. This can help avoid unnecessary extra segments. It does not remove or convert emoji.

Q: Will MoeGo recalculate my previous SMS usage after the emoji-counting correction?
A: No. Previously recorded usage will not be recalculated. The corrected counting applies to new messages after the update takes effect.

Q: I claimed the bonus but cannot see it. What should I check?
A: Confirm that you are viewing the correct business location and current billing cycle in the Message Report. If the bonus still does not appear, contact MoeGo Support with your business name, location, and billing-cycle dates.

Q: How can I share feedback about the Holiday SMS Bonus?
A: Share your experience with your MoeGo representative or MoeGo Support. Your feedback helps MoeGo understand whether the extra credits meet your Holiday communication needs and where further improvements would help.
