How to use Task Management Center

Task Management gives your team a central view of all daily tasks for pets currently in your care. This article covers how to navigate the Task Management Center, assign tasks to staff, and update task status.

How it works

Tasks appear in the Task Management Center grouped by Category or Schedule β€” toggle between the two views depending on how your team prefers to work.

Tasks grouped by type β€” Feeding, Medication, Activities

Schedule

Tasks grouped by time of day β€” AM, Noon, PM, Unassigned

Tasks are created automatically when feeding or medication schedules are added to an appointment, or when add-ons are added without an assigned staff member.

Navigate to the Task Management Center

  1. Go to the Home view from the main navigation.

  2. Click Tasks at the top of the Home view to open the Task Management Center.

  3. Select Category or Schedule to switch between grouping views.

You can filter the task list by Status, Care type, and Staff using the filter bar at the top.

Assign tasks to staff

You can assign a task to a specific staff member directly from the task row by clicking Assign staff.

You can also bulk assign tasks to the same staff member:

  1. Click the checkbox next to one or more tasks to select them.

  2. Click Bulk Assign from the Task Actions bar that appears at the bottom.

  3. Select the staff member to assign the tasks to.

Complete or update a task

  1. Click the checkbox next to a task to select it.

  2. Choose an action from the Task Actions bar:

    • Mark as Completed β€” marks the task done and updates the workflow.

    • Mark as Incomplete β€” flags the task for follow-up if it wasn't finished on time.

Add note a task

  1. Click + button on the task.

  2. Add activity note

Sort tasks by lodging

If your facility has multiple rooms or buildings, you can sort the task list by lodging unit to help staff work through tasks in physical order.
