Client & Pet Setting - Custom Client/Lead Fields (Ultimate 🌟)

Customer Custom Fields allow your staff to record additional information about a Client or Lead beyond the standard fields provided by MoeGo.

You can fully customize these fields based on your business workflow—such as referral source, veterinary notes, preferences, and more.

How to Create a Custom Field

  1. Go to Customer Custom Fields page.

  2. Click ➕ Add field.

  3. Fill out the field details:

    • Field name

    • Property type — Short text, Long text, Single-select dropdown, Multi-select dropdown, Date & Time

    • Required — choose to force staff to complete this field

    • Placeholderguide your staff with hints

    • Default valuepre-filled answer option

  4. Click Save.

  5. Drag fields to reorder them (drag-and-drop).

Once created, you can now fill these fields when adding or editing Client/Lead profiles.

FAQ

Q: Can I make a field required for staff?
Yes. Enable Required to prevent saving a Client/Lead without filling the field.

Q: Can I reorder fields?
Yes. Drag-and-drop to reorder them in both the settings and Add Client form.

Q: Do custom fields apply to both Client and Lead?
You can choose All, Client only, or Lead only when creating a field.
