MoeGo New Invoice - Cancel & No-show Appointment

Navigating appointment changes is crucial not only for ensuring smooth business operations but also for accurate financial reconciliation.

In this article, we will focus on how to handle cancellations and no-shows, ensuring accurate reporting and accounting.

Depending on the appointment status and payment status, you will be presented with different options to:

  • Directly cancel the appointment,

  • Mark it as a no-show,

  • Charge no-show fees,

  • Or process a refund if applicable.

Cancel appointment Overview

💻 Cancel appointment (Web)

  • Go to appointment details > 3 dots > cancel appointment.

Unfinished & Unpaid appointment

  • You can directly cancel or mark it as a no-show, then charge a no-show fee.

Unfinished & Partially paid appointment

  • You can select whether or not to refund the partial payment (deposit) or mark the appointment as a no-show with a no-show fee required.

Finished & Partial/ Fully paid appointment

  • Please note: The appointment cannot be canceled without a refund.

  • This prevents inconsistencies in reports and accounting by ensuring that finished and paid invoices remain final.


📱Cancel appointment (App)

  1. Select an appointment and open the Appointment details

  2. Select < Cancel >

  3. Input a cancel reason

  4. Select < OK >

To mark an appointment as a no-show while cancelling the appointment on the app:

  1. Select the appointment to view the appointment details

  2. Switch the status to < cancelled >

  3. Mark as no-show and enter the cancel reason, then select < OK >

  4. A no-show fee pop-up window will appear

  5. select < no > to only mark as a no-show or < yes > to charge the no-show as well.

  6. If < yes >, follow the prompts to charge the no-show fee.
