MoeGo Service - Setting Up Your Boarding Services

You can set up and manage your boarding services to ensure both you and your clients can schedule appointments smoothly and optimize daily operations.

💡 Note: This feature is currently available only on the web version of MoeGo.


Boarding Service

  • To view or manage your boarding services, go to: Settings > Services > Boarding.

  • This will take you to your boarding service list, where you can view, edit, or create new services.


Step 1: Set Up Boarding Categories

  • Under the Boarding service section, click on "Edit Category"

  • You'll be able to:

    • Add new Category: Group similar services.

    • Sort Category: Prioritize services category display by dragging and dropping based on importance.

    • Remove Category: Keep your offerings relevant.


Step 2: Add a new Boarding Service

  • Click “Add New Boarding Service” to create a new boarding service.

  • Alternatively, you can click the three-dot menu next to a specific category and select “Add Service” to add a new service directly under that category.

In the "Add boarding service" page, configure the following details:

Basic Info

  • Service Name
    The name of the service as it appears to both your business and clients.

  • Category
    The category under which this service will be listed for both internal use and client-facing views.

  • Description
    A brief explanation of the service. This will be visible to clients on your storefront and online booking page.

  • Status
    Indicates whether the service is active or inactive. Inactive services will not be visible to your team or clients when creating appointments.

  • Image
    A visual representation of the service is shown to clients during the online booking process.

  • Color Code
    Used for internal organization to color-code services on the calendar or appointment cards. This is not visible to clients.

Lodgings

  • By default, all lodging types are selected.

  • If you’d like to limit this service to specific lodging types, simply toggle off “All Lodging Types” and use the checkboxes to select where the service will be offered.

Businesses

  • If you have multiple business locations, you can indicate which businesses this service is offered at.

  • By default, all business locations are selected.

Price

  • Unit Price
    Set the price per unit. This will determine the total cost of the service.

  • Unit
    Choose whether the service is charged per night or per day. This affects how the total price is calculated.

  • Tax
    Set the applicable tax rate for this service. While clients won’t see the tax during booking, it will appear on the invoice. Tax options are configured under Settings > General Settings > Tax.

  • Override by Business
    Allows you to override the default price and tax for different business locations, enabling pricing flexibility as needed.

Pet Details

  • Type & Breed
    Specify which pet types and breeds are eligible for this service. Choose from:

    • All Types and Breeds – The service is available to all pets.

    • Customize – Select specific pet types (e.g., dog, cat) and filter by breed within each type.

  • Weight
    Define the pet size(s) eligible for this service. Options include:

    • Full Range – The service is available to pets of all sizes.

    • Customize – Select specific weight ranges categorized by pet size. Set up your size option in Settings > Clients & Pets > Pet size

  • Pet Code(s)
    Set additional eligibility or restrictions based on pet codes.

    • No Restriction – Any pet that meets the criteria above is eligible.

    • Eligible Pet Code(s) – Only pets with these codes can access this service.

    • Blocked Pet Code(s) – Pets with these codes are excluded from this service.

Default service(s)/add-on(s)

You can set up rules to automatically attach a specific grooming service or add-on to this boarding service when a pet stays for a certain number of days or more.
The selected service will be added whether the booking is made manually or through online booking.

Note: Default items are enforced once the length-of-stay condition is met. These items are billed separately and not included in the base boarding price.

Grooming Service Attachment

  • Once a grooming service is selected, you can choose to add it to the boarding appointment on either:

    • First Day, or

    • Last Day

  • Note: The quantity per day is fixed and cannot be adjusted for grooming services.

Add-On Attachment

  • Once an add-on is selected, you can choose to apply it to the booking on:

    • Every Day

    • Every Day Except the Check-Out Day

    • Every Day Except the Check-In Day

    • Last Day

  • You’ll also have the option to adjust the quantity per day for add-ons.

Evaluation

You can choose to require an evaluation for this boarding service and decide whether this requirement applies to online booking as well.

  • Does this service require an evaluation?
    If set to Yes, an evaluation must be completed before staff can schedule this boarding service.

  • Do customers need to schedule an evaluation before booking regular services online?
    If set to Yes, clients will be prompted to schedule an evaluation before they can book the actual boarding service online.

Step 3: Manage Boarding Services

  • Click the three-dot menu next to a specific category and select “Sort Service”.

  • This allows you to adjust the display order of services within that category.

  • Use the three-dot menu next to each specific service to edit, duplicate, or delete as needed.
