MoeGo Insights — Overview

A guide to what MoeGo Insights is, how it's structured, which features are available on each plan, and how to navigate the dashboard and reports.

What is MoeGo Insights?

MoeGo Insights is the reporting center inside MoeGo. It gives you a unified view of your business performance — revenue, clients, staff, appointments, and operations — all in one place.

Insights is made up of two sections:

  • Dashboard shows high-level summaries and trends at a glance

  • Reports let you dig into the details with filters, groupings, and downloadable data.

Data in Insights syncs once per hour. The last sync time is shown in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Transactions processed in the last two hours may not yet appear.

How to access Insights

🖥️ Desktop:

From the main navigation, go to Report > Insights.

  • Select Dashboard to view summary metrics and trends.

  • Select Reports to open the full report library.

📱App:

  • In the app, select "Insights" from the left-hand menu.

  • Tap "New Insights" in the top-right corner to switch to the new report dashboard.

  • Review your Insights Overview for key metrics and insights such as expected revenue, week over week sales performance, and pet demographics.

Staff access to reports

By default, staff members cannot access reports. An admin can grant report access in Settings > Staff > Role settings.

There are two separate permissions:

  • Access Reports — grants access to all report types, excluding the payroll report. Can be scoped to of their own, at working businesses, or at all businesses.

  • Access payroll report — grants access to the payroll report specifically. Can be scoped the same way.
