How to save a custom price and duration for a pet

Learn how to set a pet-specific price and duration for a service so it automatically applies every time you book that pet.

Pricing isn't one-size-fits-all. Some pets take longer, behave differently, or have a history that affects what you charge. MoeGo lets you save a custom price and duration for a specific service on each pet — so the right numbers fill in automatically every time you book them.

This article covers how to save, manage, and remove customized service pricing from both the appointment and the pet profile.

From an appointment

You can save a custom price and duration while creating or editing an appointment. This is available on both desktop and mobile.

Desktop

  1. Open a new or existing appointment

  2. Hover over the pet's service details and select the Edit icon

  3. Adjust the Duration and Price for the service

  4. Toggle on Save duration for the pet and Save price for the pet

  5. Select which appointments to apply the saved values to:

    • This and following appointments — applies from this appointment date forward

    • All upcoming appointments — applies to every upcoming appointment for this pet under their booking history

  6. Select Save

Confirmed appts won’t be updated with the new price or duration.

Mobile app

  1. Open a new or existing appointment

  2. Select the Edit icon next to the pet's service

  3. Adjust the Duration and Price for the service

  4. Toggle on Save price for this pet and Save duration for this pet

  5. Select which appointments to apply the saved values to:

    • This and following appts — applies from this appointment date forward

    • All upcoming appts — applies to every upcoming appointment for this pet

  6. Select Save

From the pet profile

You can also set, edit, or delete a saved price and duration directly from the pet's profile. This is useful when you want to set pricing before booking the pet's first appointment.

  1. Go to Clients & Pets in the side menu

  2. Select a client and go to the Pets tab

  3. Select the pet

  4. Scroll to the Customized service price section

  5. Select + Add customized

  6. Select the Service name

  7. Check Saved duration and/or Saved price and enter the values

  8. Select Save

Edit or delete a saved price

To update a saved price or duration, return to the Customized service price section on the pet's profile and edit the values directly.

To remove a saved price, select the delete option next to the entry.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between "This and following appointments" and "All upcoming appointments"?

A: This and following appointments saves the price and duration starting from the appointment you are editing, and applies to all appointments after it. All upcoming appointments applies to every upcoming appointment for that pet listed in their booking history, regardless of date order.

Q: Can I save a price and duration for a specific service only, or does it apply to all services?

A: The saved price and duration are set per service. Each service for a pet can have its own saved values.

Q: Will the saved price update automatically if I change my service menu price later?

A: No. Once you save a custom price for a pet, that price is locked to the pet's profile. It will not change if you update your service menu. You can update or remove it manually from the pet profile at any time.
