Client Profile - Settings

Manage client preferences directly within the Client Profile Settings to streamline communication, scheduling, and payment workflows.

What You Can Manage

The following preferences are available under Client Profile Settings:

  • Default phone number for SMS communication

  • Block this client

  • Subscription to email campaigns

  • Automated message and email preferences

  • Appointment reminder preferences

  • Preferred groomer

  • Grooming frequency

  • Preferred service days and time window

  • Preferred business location

  • Auto-tipping settings


How to Access Client Profile Settings

  1. Go to Client & Pet

  2. Select a client profile

  3. Click Settings from the side menu


Communication & Marketing Preferences

Default Phone Number for SMS

Select the client’s default phone number for SMS communication.

  • This number will be used for all messages, including automated messages

  • It will also be the default contact when sending two-way messages

Block This Client

Toggle Block this client to stop all communication.

  • You will no longer receive message replies

  • Call forwarding from this client and their associated contacts will be disabled


Notification Preferences

You can customize how clients receive notifications:

1. Service-Related Notifications

Includes:

  • Appointment updates

  • Appointment reminders

  • Card-on-file links

  • Grooming reports

  • Invoice links

  • Agreement links

  • ETA messages

  • Workflow notifications

Available channels: Email, SMS, Auto Call

2. Marketing Notifications

Includes:

  • Mass texts

  • Birthday reminders

  • Rebooking reminders

  • Review requests

  • Abandoned booking recovery messages

  • Workflow campaigns

  • Email campaigns

Service Preferences

Set client preferences to improve scheduling efficiency and personalization.

Preferred Groomer

Select the client’s preferred groomer.
The preferred groomer will be auto selected when booking future appointments.

Grooming Frequency

Set how often the client prefers grooming (by days, weeks, or months).

  • The system will also display actual frequency based on appointment history

  • This setting determines rebooking reminder timing

Preferred Service Days

Select preferred weekdays for appointments.

  • Can be used as a filter when managing waitlists

Preferred Time Window

Set a preferred time range for appointments.

  • Helps the system recommend suitable time slots

  • Can also be used for waitlist filtering

Preferred Business Location

If you have multiple locations:

  • Select the client’s preferred location

  • This will be the default when booking appointments

  • The system will alert you if a different location is selected


Payment Preferences

Auto-Tipping

Enable automatic tipping during checkout.

  • Choose a percentage or fixed amount

  • Best used for regular clients who have confirmed their tipping preference

  • Works seamlessly when a card is saved on file


Save Changes

  • Click Save after making any updates

  • If you attempt to leave the page with unsaved changes, a prompt will appear:

    • Select Discard Changes to exit without saving

    • Or click Save to keep your updates
