01 What Is Smarter Invoice & Payments?

Smarter Invoice & Payments is MoeGo's new financial system — replacing the current invoice experience with a smarter, more reliable engine designed specifically for boarding and daycare businesses.

It's not just a new look. It's a new foundation — one that protects your revenue, eliminates financial errors, and makes every checkout cleaner and more accurate.

Why are we upgrading?

As your business grows, so does the complexity of managing deposits, prepayments, balance collections, refunds, and tips. The current invoice system was not built to handle this complexity reliably. Smarter Invoice is.

03 How to Schedule Your Migration

New to Smarter Invoice & Payments?

Before you schedule your migration, we recommend reading the overview to understand what's new and what to expect with product details.

Migration is quick, controlled, and scheduled at a time that works for your business. Here's how it works:

Step 1: See the invitation

As a business owner, you will see an in-product banner on your MoeGo homepage

inviting you to upgrade to Smarter Invoice & Payments.

You will also receive an email or intercom message with the same invitation.

🔍 Note: Only the business owner will receive this invitation — not staff members.

Step 2: Choose your migration date & time

  1. Click "Schedule a time"

  2. Select an available date and time slot that works best for your business.

  3. Review and confirm the migration agreement.

  4. Submit your schedule.

Step 3: Confirmation

Once submitted, your migration time is confirmed. You'll receive a confirmation message with your scheduled date.

💡 Need to change your time? Contact MoeGo Support — they can reschedule for you.

Step 4: Migration completes automatically

At your scheduled time, our data team will switch the invoice version and complete the migration for you in the background.

There is no downtime — your team can continue using MoeGo as normal.

Once complete, your business will be fully live on Smarter Invoice & Payments.

⚠️ Important: Migration cannot be reversed

Once your business migrates to Smarter Invoice & Payments, it is permanent.

The new system uses a different financial data model, which means going back is not possible.

This is why we recommend reviewing this page before scheduling your migration.

04 A Few Things to Know

Smarter Invoice & Payments is a significant upgrade — and like any major system change, a small number of actions or workflow differently than before. Most improvements are already available, with a few finishing touches still rolling out.
