New Invoice V4: Edit Staff And Tips Split

After an invoice is fully paid, the invoice becomes finalized.
Service items and prices can no longer be changed, but you can still adjust:

  • πŸ‘₯ Staff assignment (who gets credit/commission)

  • πŸ’° Tip distribution (how tips are split)

This ensures payroll, reporting, and commissions stay accurate β€” without reopening or modifying the original invoice.

When should I use this?

Use Edit Staff & Tips when:

  • The wrong staff member was assigned at checkout

  • Multiple staff shared the service

  • Tips need to be split fairly

  • You need to correct payroll or commission attribution

⚠️ This does not change charges, totals, or payment history.

How it works

The system updates:

  • Service ownership (staff)

  • Tip allocation only

The invoice remains closed and finalized for accounting integrity.

How-to Guide

  1. Open Appointment details

  2. Click β‹― (3 dots)

  3. Select Edit staff

  4. Make your updates on staff and tips

  5. Click Save

  • Reassign staff for each service

⚠️ The multi-staff per service mode is not supported for editing staff after checkout. More details on Multi-staff per service.

  • Adjust the tip split between staff and business

  • Adjust the tip split by service price or staff equally

The tips split will follow the tips settings. But you may manually update tips split based on your specific needs.

Does this reopen the invoice?

No. The invoice stays finalized.

Can I change prices or services here?

No. Use Extra Charge or Refund instead.

Will reports update automatically?

Yes. Staff reports, commissions, and tip payouts update instantly.
