New Invoice V4: Send Or Print Receipts

After an invoice is fully paid, you can send a digital receipt to the pet parent by text message (SMS) or email, or print a physical copy.

Receipts give clients clear proof of payment and service details, helping you reduce disputes, follow-up questions, and manual paperwork.

Send Receipt allows your business to:

  • Share proof of payment instantly

  • Improve client communication and professionalism

  • Reduce support questions about charges

  • Keep transactions documented for clients’ records

⚠️ Once an invoice is finalized, service items and pricing cannot be edited.

Before You Start

Make sure:

  • The invoice is fully paid

  • The client has a valid phone number or email saved in their profile

💡 Tip: Update contact details before sending to avoid delivery failures.

How It Works

After checkout:

  1. The invoice becomes finalized

  2. You can access Send receipt

  3. Choose Message or Email

  4. The client receives a receipt with payment details

  1. Complete payment

  2. Receipt pop-up appears

  3. Click Send receipt

  4. Choose Message or Email

Send a Receipt from Appointment (Web)

  1. Go to Appointment details

  2. Click ⋯ (3 dots)

  3. Select View receipts

  4. Click Send receipt

  5. Choose Message or Email

Send a Receipt from Invoice (Web & App)

Best for: Accessing from anywhere (most common path)

  1. Go to Appointment details

  2. Tap View invoice

  3. Tap View receipt

  4. Tap Send receipt

  5. Choose Message or Email

Print a Receipt (Web Only)

If the client needs a paper copy:

  1. Go to Appointment details

  2. Click View invoice

  3. Click View receipt

  4. Click Print receipt

What Clients Receive

Receipts include:

  • Business name

  • Services provided

  • Add-ons or extra charges

  • Tips

  • Taxes

  • Total amount paid

  • Payment method

  • Date and time

This ensures full transaction transparency.

FAQs

Can I resend a receipt?

Yes. Open the invoice or receipt anytime and send again.

Can I edit the invoice before sending?

No. Finalized invoices cannot be edited. Use Extra Charge if you need to add additional fees.

Why didn’t the client receive it?

Check:

  • Phone/email is correct

  • Spam/junk folder (email)

  • Try sending again
