Store Credit allows businesses to issue and use credit as a payment method in MoeGo. Once enabled, Store Credit appears as one of the available payment options at checkout.
Because Store Credit affects client balances and financial records, access to credit functions is permission-based to ensure proper control.
Enabling Store Credit
Store Credit functions as a payment method in MoeGo.
Go to Settings > Payment > Payment Method.
Locate Store Credit.
The toggle is ON by default for accounts that have the Store Credit feature enabled.
Toggle ON β Store Credit will display as an available payment method during checkout.
Toggle OFF β Store Credit will not appear as a payment option.
β οΈ Store Credit is currently a beta feature.
You must enroll in the whitelist to activate Store Credit as a payment method.
Staff Permission
Store Credit access is controlled by staff-level permissions. Only authorized staff members can view, add, or adjust credit balances.
Go to Settings > Staff > Role permissions > Clients & Pets to set it up.
"Access Store Credit" allows staff to manually adjust client credit in the client profile
"Apply Store Credit at Checkout" allow staff to be able to apply existing credit to the invoice when checking out
